CCNC achieves SOC 2 Type II compliance
After undergoing a rigorous audit for the last few months, CCNC received Service Organization Control (SOC) 2 Type II Certification. The certification demonstrates CCNC’s commitment to protecting confidential health data and meeting national security standards for the operating effectiveness of “controls,” or procedures and rules.
The SOC 2 audit, performed by Assurance Professional, provides independent validation that CCNC’s controls comply with the standards determined by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). The Type II report measures the suitability and operating effectiveness of an organization’s controls surrounding the security, availability, and processing integrity of the systems used to process users’ data and the confidentiality of the data processed by these systems.
