NEJM. In an article about prescription medicine nonadherence, The New England Journal of Medicine referenced CCNC’s successful work with physicians and clinical pharmacists in a care-coordinated effort. Read the full article here.

 

Awards 

SE4A Award. CCNC and the NC Association of Area Agencies on Aging have been awarded the 2013 Corporate Partnership Award by the Southeastern Association of Area Agencies on Aging. The award will be presented at the Awards Luncheon on Monday, Sept. 23 in Orange Beach, Ala.

 

Other News

AF4Q National Meeting. Annette DuBard, MD, MPH, and Jennifer Cockerham, represented CCNC at the Aligning Forces for Quality National Meeting in May. Dr. Dubard presented on Data Analytics and Sustainability within CCNC’s Informatics Center. Information on the presentation can be found here. Ms. Cockerham participated on a panel that discussed the innovative partnerships various multi-stakeholder or community organizations have developed with their states to advance shared goals.
