Possible delays to Medicaid transformation, but go-live preparations continue
The state’s ongoing budget debate may alter the expected November 1, 2019 go-live date for Region 2 and Region 4 as transformation funding is tied up in state budget discussions.
But despite uncertainty around the go-live date for NC’s transformation to Medicaid Managed Care, CCNC and CCPN continue to make progress in preparing for the system, having now signed contracts with all five winners of the state’s Managed Care RFP: Blue Cross NC (Healthy Blue), WellCare North Carolina, UnitedHealthcare, Carolina Complete Health, and AmeriHealth Caritas North Carolina.
